cecca says: Hi Stephanie, thanks for your question. Yes I can do another colour background, do you know exactly the colour you'd like? I guess it depends what your base fabric is like as to which one to go for. If it has some stretch you might want to match that in the appliqué fabric? I haven't tried many of the fabrics myself but I've used the basic cotton for patchwork which works well. I can ask my Spoonflower friends to see if anyone has some more constructive advice. And I would always refer to Spoonflower's great guidance on fabric usage in the first instance. Best wishes, Cecca
